Marshall Hawkins Photography

 

Marshall Hawkins, photographer was nationally known, his career spanned over fifty years. He travelled throughout the country to photograph all types of equestrian events, parties and weddings.

 

Marshall Hawkins’ most famous photograph was a 1962 shot of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy which appeared on the cover of Life Magazine.

 

Born in Lynchburg, Marshall Hawkins served in the Seabees during World War II and later settled in Warrenton, Virginia, where he lived until his death in 1988.
